As part of the free BBQ kindly provided by our friends at Engel, Notpla will also demonstrate their unique, seaweed-based alternative to single-use plastic packaging, as we serve up delicious meals in their natural, home-compostable food containers!
What’s so interesting about these food containers?
These simple containers are carefully engineered to eliminate waste and make the planet a healthier place. Where conventional containers have petrochemical based coatings, these have a 100% natural and renewably-sourced seaweed coating that can resist anything a delicious hot BBQ can throw at them. Once finished, the whole package can be composted and will disappear without a trace—just like a fruit peel!
