Mainstage / Speaking Slot Guidelines

As a forward-thinking partner, it’s our pleasure to ask you to present your innovative product as speaker on our festival ‘mainstage’!

“Festival of Polymer Innovation” is a chance to showcase an innovative material / product line from your portfolio to an audience of UK materials processors, brand-owners, OEMs and tier-2 industry professionals from a range of sectors including Sustainability, Automotive & Mobility, Healthcare, Packaging, Sports & Leisure, Construction, Electronics and more. We aim to bring around 300-400 existing and potential customers to the event.

So that we can keep things interesting and dynamic, we have compiled some mainstage guidelines that we ask that you follow:

Our festival is a chance to showcase an innovative material / product line from your portfolio to an audience of UK materials processors, brand-owners, OEMs and tier-2 industry professionals from a range of sectors including Sustainability, Automotive & Mobility, Healthcare, Packaging, Sports & Leisure, Construction, Electronics and more. Plastribution will have no competing materials distributors and we aim to bring around 150-250 existing and potential customers to the event.

Presentations should be no longer than 20 minutes long, including any Q&A. The mainstage will be compèred, so should your allocated slot be reaching its final minutes, they will make you aware that your time will be ending soon.
Presentations are to only be about innovative products / product lines that are available to UK and Irish customers via Plastribution’s distribution channels.
In the interest of being solutions focused, presentations are not to include a company introduction and are not to be about your organisation. Our compère will give a brief introduction to your company, but details like the history of the business, who you are (beyond a personal introduction) and company statistics are not necessary.
If you are submitting a slideshow presentation, this must be sent either in a PowerPoint .PPT or .PPTX format by 1st August 2024. Presentations must be a widescreen1(6:9 ratio) and all typefaces should be embedded – Plastribution can’t be responsible if your presentation doesn’t render correctly.
Having said this, with the theme of the festival being innovation, we absolutely encourage you to think about different and interesting ways that you can demonstrate your product solution – think about audience participation and interesting ideas to get people engaged with your products story. The physical space is large and we will be fully supported on-site by an AV team, so please contact matt.goodger@plastribution.co.uk to discuss any ideas and how we achieve them.

Exhibition Spaces

The Festival of Polymer Innovation will also feature space only exhibition spaces that you can access at no cost, where you will have the chance to speak to guests about your business in more specific detail and network.

Again, we encourage you to think creatively about how you use this space to present your products in a fun and engaging way. If you do need more space for your idea, please contact matt.goodger@plastribution.co.uk and this can be discussed.
